Briavels 2002

Sunday Lunch was done by Sian: originally Meredith would have been Chief Cook, but she had to pull out due to family illness. We have an interesting allergy/diet to cope with this time, involving no carbohydrates other than those found naturally in veg: no grains, no pulses, no spuds.

I'm reusing some old favourites, with a few slight mods. Sunday lunch is usually something to be eaten when still recovering from Saturday night, and with left-overs from previous meals available to fill the gaps, so simply providing a few dishes that cater for all allergies and feed the not-very-hungry is the main aim. Not much authenticity is required.

The original plan involved Traitors Stew. This was foiled by a lack of traitors (and diced rabbit), so we fell back on a different old joke.
